Wind + Water is an interior design app that provides accessible home improvement for the urban home based on the principles of Feng Shui. Its bold and contemporary visual identity inspires interest and challenges assumptions. The name, wind + water is Feng Shui’s literal translation. Wind + Water's logotype is simple, based on a san-serif which gives it a clear contemporary vibe. Feng Shui has colors that correspond to the four directions, so the palette I created for this identity is reminiscent of those colors. The duotone treatment for the images also creates a duality between cool and warm colors and represents the aspect of yin and yang, a central concept in Feng Shui
